This page is a place for me to accumulate information. At the moment contains documentation for configuring NetBSD/arm32(RiscBSD) and other Free UNIX systems for dialup connectivity and general information about NetBSD. It also contains links to other sites that I find interesting.
PPP Dialup configurations
This was originally written as a guide for NetBSD/arm32 users wishing to setup basic PPP connectivity to Demon. However the information is accurate for Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and any other NetBSD architecture. It can also be adapted to almost any other ISP.
NetBSD/arm32 Ethernet card drivers
I have written an improved driver for the i-cubed Etherlan 600(EtherH) for NetBSD/arm32. This driver is now available as part of the NetBSD 1.4 and NetBSD current kernels for arm32. Source is available from the NetBSD FTP server. More information about NetBSD in general can be found at the NetBSD home page.
I now have an enhanced version of the driver which supports media selection via the standard NetBSD media interface. This driver also supports two more NE2000 derived ethernet cards for the EtherN and EtherI cards shipped with Acorn NC's. These patches are now integrated into NetBSD 1.5.
